DCM is partnering with Denver Parks and Recreation to bring you ActiveNet, the new member database for Denver Community Media. DCM members will need to create an ActiveNet account in order to purchase and maintain their annual or monthly membership.

New members must attend orientation class to become eligible to take training courses, reserve studios or edit bays and rent equipment. Members will learn how to access and use the resources available at the facility, and learn how to submit content to the DCM cablecast and streaming channels. Please bring proof of identity and residency to the class.

All-access memberships include all basic membership benefits, plus production equipment rentals, podcast studio and main studio reservations (subject to availability and production criteria), enrollment in our basic certification classes: including field equipment, video editing, podcast production and main studio certification and training at no additional charge.
An organization membership will give the organization three, year-long, All-Access memberships to DCM. The memberships are non-transferable between individuals within the organization. Should the organization desire to purchase additional memberships, this may be done at the rate of $500 for each additional member.
This membership level is intended to be used by recognized non-profit organizations. For the purpose of Denver Community Media membership qualifications, an Organizational Member shall be defined as:

Such organizations shall submit a written mission statement on official letterhead for review by the Access Manager for qualification. Criteria are subject to change and is subject to approval by the Access Manager.
To qualify for this discount, the member will be required to show proof that they qualify for a Colorado Cash Assistance Benefits program (ex. Free & Reduced Price School Meals), are a US Military Veteran, or are 65 years of age or older.

DCM would like to allow families the opportunity to participate in its service offerings. Family members can receive a 50% member registration discount when added to a full price individual membership. To be eligible for this family discount, the additional family members must be “immediate family” as described in D.R.M.C. §2-52. This family discount does not apply to members who qualify for the Bridging the Divide membership level as those individuals have already qualified for a 50% discount.
To qualify, the family member must provide proof of address, and memberships must be purchased in-person at the Community Media Center. Family 50% discounted memberships must be the same tier level as the higher priced ‘individual’ membership. Additional family 50% discounted memberships must be linked in the same household as the ‘individual.’

Colorado residents may submit programs for air on DCM cable channels (Ch. 56, 57, and 881), web streaming platforms, and video on‐demand apps (www.dcminthecloud.org and ROKU). DCM membership is not required. Air times are at the discretion of DCM programming staff.
